Job Description
About the Role
As Senior PM for Monetisation, you'll lead on the intersection of our ads portfolio and our affordability products. You'll figure out how ads can drive affordability for our customers while driving returns for vendors and revenue for talabat.
This is a high-ambiguity, high-impact role. You'll work with our commercial teams to set the strategy, build conviction across Product & Technology, Commercial, and Delivery Hero's Adtech teams, and drive execution against it. You'll need to be equally comfortable presenting to senior leadership as you are digging into conversion funnels.
What's on your plate?
- Own the Product Strategy — for how ads and affordability products work together
- Balance the marketplace — design products that genuinely improve customer affordability while driving measurable value for vendors and sustainable revenue for talabat.
- Drive cross-org alignment — this role spans talabat P&T, Commercial teams, and Delivery Hero's Adtech organisation. You'll need to influence, build coalitions, and keep multiple stakeholders moving toward a shared goal.
- Go deep on data — build a rigorous, evidence-based view of what's working and what isn't. Understand trade-offs between customer conversion, vendor ROI, and ad revenue.
- Ship product — work with engineering, design, and data science to take ideas from insight to production. You'll operate at the strategic level but you're not above the details.
- Set the pace — bring energy and urgency to the teams around you. Create clarity in ambiguous spaces so others can move fast and with confidence.
Qualifications
What did we order?
The must-haves:
- Significant product management experience with a track record of shipping products that drive commercial outcomes.
- Consumer product sensibility — you care about the customer experience and can spot when a commercial mechanic crosses the line from helpful to annoying.
- Exceptional analytical ability — you're fluent in data, comfortable building models, and able to extract insight from noise.
- Commercial awareness — you understand how businesses make money and can have credible conversations with commercial and finance stakeholders.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across organisational boundaries, including external partners.
- Comfort with ambiguity — you can set direction when the problem isn't well-defined and the data is incomplete.
- AI-fluent in how you build and how you ship. You vibe-code prototypes to pressure-test ideas before engineering picks them up, ship products with AI capabilities built in where it genuinely improves the experience, leverage shared context libraries to move faster, and actively raise the AI literacy of the people around you.
The nice-to-haves:
- Experience in a marketplace business — you understand multi-sided dynamics intuitively.
- Monetisation or ads product experience
- Experience working across B2C and B2B product surfaces within the same platform.
The kind of person you are:
- You set the pace. People around you move faster because you create clarity.
- You build genuine empathy with customers and vendors through speaking to them and understanding their needs.
- You're energised by hard problems with no obvious answer.
