Job Description

We’re looking for a Manager, Strategic Account Management to join our growing team. The Manager, Strategic Account Management will drive growth for our high-value partner portfolio through close business relationships, value-creation, and operational and marketing excellence. Reporting to the Lead, Strategic Account Management, ideal candidates should possess quick learning abilities, experience in data-informed business planning, a high degree of comfort with proprietary software systems and a very keen eye for details. Experience and knowledge of F&B operations is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand relationships with existing restaurants and proactively identify further new business opportunities

  • Plan and facilitate joint business plans and quarterly business reviews with your portfolio of clients

  • Achieve and exceed on weekly and monthly KPIs/business goals

  • Maintain and grow the revenue and gross profit of each account through constructing and negotiating commercial terms within your portfolio

  • Grow the topline for our clients and your portfolio through marketing endeavors, operational excellence tools/metrics, strategic launches/partnerships

  • Work with internal support functions to ensure alignment between client needs, content, operations, and marketing 

  • Leverage and use key data insights to elevate business actions

  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of the foodpanda business model and the online food ordering market

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in a client-facing and sales-based relationship management role

  • Proven track record of Account Management or Territory Sales with B2B sales experience, preferably in any of the following areas: media, advertising, and e-commerce

  • Excellent communication skills, must have a consultative sales approach and be a strong persuader and influencer

  • Strong relationship builder, has a positive attitude and is a team player

  • Highly driven, is self-motivated, target oriented, resilient and tenacious

  • Customer focused, enjoys working autonomously, hits the ground running and demonstrates a willingness to learn

  • Strong analytical skills, makes well judged decisions, good numeracy, pays strong attention to detail, is a strong problem solver, demonstrates good commercial awareness and thinks outside the box to generate new ideas
