Job Description

Join one of the world's leading online food ordering and delivery marketplaces! Delivery Hero is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Quick Commerce (Shops) to lead acquisition efforts across 17 markets in Europe, APAC, and Turkey.

Based in Berlin and reporting to the Regional Commercial Director for Shops, this role will drive regional acquisition strategies, support top-tier (AAA) seller partnerships, roll out new sub verticals, and manage regional brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the acquisition Strategy: lead acquisition efforts across 18 markets, securing partnerships with key AAA sellers and national brands to support the expansion into new verticals.

  • Own the Hunting List: Develop and manage a targeted acquisition list, reporting regularly on progress.

  • Optimize Market Teams: Ensure market teams have the structure and resources needed to achieve regional targets.

  • Equip Commercial Teams: Develop pitch decks and negotiation materials to empower commercial teams in engaging with potential partners.

  • Manage Key Partner Relations: Oversee relationships with regional partners through joint business planning, leveraging regional influence to support local market goals.

  • Launch New Vertical Playbooks: Roll out new verticals (e.g., pharma, beauty) by creating detailed playbooks, tracking progress, and addressing any roadblocks.

  • Coordinate with Tech: Work closely with the tech team to streamline seller onboarding processes.

  • Train new sales on the market 

Qualifications

  • Sales and Marketplace Expertise: At least 8 years of experience in a sales or marketplace role, with proven success in account management, business development, or commercial strategy.

  • Relationship Building: Strong ability to develop and manage high-value partner relationships across multiple markets and to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strategic Thinking: Excellent skills in creating and implementing strategic acquisition plans, with a focus on scaling and optimizing sales processes.

  • Sales Enablement: Skilled in developing sales collateral and training materials to support negotiation efforts.

  • Project Management: Experience in launching new product lines or verticals, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to meet ambitious goals.

  • Analytical Ability: Proficiency in leveraging sales and market data to inform decisions, track KPIs, and adjust strategies.
