Job Description

Role Summary
We are looking for a Team Lead for our Logistics Operations to join our team and be part of our growth. If you’re a team leader who is hungry for a new adventure, a multinational workplace is waiting for you. You will lead a team of coordinators who form the essence for our logistics operations for the allocated
zones, and you’ll work closely with line-manager and local cross-functional teams to achieve objective key-results, and ensure to deliver a seamless experience to our customers!

 

What’s On Your Plate?
● Monitor, Control and Optimize our internal Service Level KPIs on allocated zones and rider-level.
● Lead supply planning and supervises rider recruitment for the allocated zones.
● Monitor and Control Live Operations and resolution of challenges.
● Lead a team of Rider Coordinators and monitor their productivity.
● Actively listen to the voice of riders, customers, and vendors through multiple communication channels, and ensure site visit audits conducted in a periodic manner.
● Improve relationship and experience between riders, vendors and customers by being the customer service champion for all internal/external stakeholders.
● Oversee and decrease rider level cancellations, and ensure an action plan has been developed and executed.
● Document weekly updates on all logistics operations KPIs to line-manager along with improvement actionable items.
● Coordinate and Support colleagues by working alongside cross-department and cross-functional teams initiatives and priorities.
● Ensure compliance and adherence to Standard Operational Procedures, and provide recommendations for improvements.
● Execution of Special Projects, and adherence to deadlines.
● Support other stakeholders when required or as requested from Line Manager.


What Did We Order?
● Bachelor's Degree
● 2-3 years of experience in food/grocery tech industry is highly preferred
● Proficient in Google Suite tools like GDoc, GSheet, GSlides, GForms etc
● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. English and Arabic is a must. Urdu is a plus.
● Influencer and a negotiation with good public speaking and presentation skills
● People management skills: Experience of managing bigger group of people
