Job Description

On this journey, you will report to Supply Planning Lead

Your Responsibilities will include: 

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize lead times, and maximize fill rates.
  • Analyse supplier performance data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address performance gaps.
  • Manage supplier relationships and communications, serving as the primary point of contact for escalated issues and resolution of performance-related issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, supplier delivery schedules, and enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide regular updates on inventory projections.
  • Lead supplier review meetings to discuss any shortages and recommend mitigation strategies ensuring OTIF for all suppliers.
  • Coordinate with demand planning, logistics, distribution centre and warehousing teams to address any changes to supply plan and resolve any shortage scenarios that might occur.
  • Prepare and present supplier performance reports and updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

Your role in this journey requires the following:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in Supplier Management, Planning, Inventory Management or Operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Profound analytical skills, strong data orientation and advanced MS Excel skills are mandatory (SQL skills are a plus)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Results-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative team player capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
