Speed and convenience are becoming increasingly important for people here in Norway, and through quick-commerce, we can offer our customers the opportunity to order items and have them delivered home in under half an hour.

We are seeking a data-driven and proactive Junior Demand Planner to join our Foodora Market team. As a Junior Demand Planner, you will support the team in achieving Waste and Availability targets by assisting in monitoring the sales forecasts, executing precise orders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Commercial and Operations. You will also have the opportunity to work on small projects and learn from experienced colleagues!

 

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Execute Purchase Orders to our providers to ensure the correct fulfillment of our DMarts in the whole of Norway

  • Collaborate with Commercial and Operations teams to support the planning and execution of campaigns and new product launches.

  • Help ensure optimal inventory by working with category managers, operations managers, and store managers.

  • Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand forecasting accuracy, product availability, and waste, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline and improve demand planning processes.

  • Support project management for local projects, such as implementing new supply systems.

 

To succeed in the role, we envision that you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or logistics (a master’s degree is a plus).

  • 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in retail.

  • Some experience in demand planning, inventory management, or related roles is an advantage. 

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Language skills: Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
