Job Description
1. Vendor Outreach and Assessment:
- Conduct outbound calls to potential vendors, introducing them to Talabat and explaining the benefits of partnering with our platform.
- Assess vendors' suitability by evaluating their menu offerings, operational capabilities, and compliance with Talabat's standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with relevant internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for approved vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of vendor interactions and assessments.
2. Vendor Onboarding:
- Guide approved vendors through the onboarding process, assisting them with required documentation, training materials, and platform setup.
- Communicate clearly with vendors regarding the necessary steps and timelines for successful onboarding.
- Address any concerns or questions raised by vendors during the onboarding process.
3. Issue Resolution and Support:
- Serve as the main point of contact for vendors, promptly responding to their inquiries and providing solutions to their issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Operations and Technical Support, to resolve vendor-related problems efficiently.
- Ensure timely follow-up on vendor issues, keeping vendors informed about the progress and resolution of their concerns.
- Provide ongoing support to vendors, offering guidance on platform usage, order management, and operational best practices.
4. Relationship Building:
- Cultivate strong relationships with vendors, understanding their needs and proactively addressing any potential challenges.
- Regularly communicate with vendors to gather feedback and suggestions for improving their experience with Talabat.
- Collaborate with the Vendor Management team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent certificate.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or vendor management is a pluse.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools.
- Familiarity with the food delivery industry and knowledge of local market trends is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
