The Madison lab is seeking 2 full time Research Technician (40 hours/week) for the following two shifts:

Tuesday-Saturday 7AM-3:30PM shift

Sunday-Thursday 7AM-3:30PM shift .

Applicant must be organized, hard- working, proficient, detail-oriented, have the ability to work as a team member, have excellent aseptic technique, and be willing to put in the time needed to meet a tight project deadline. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Shelf Life Studies, Challenge Testing, Validations, Bacteriophage Testing, Setup and maintenance of cultures in cryovials, Literature Searches, Method Development, Result Analysis and Report Writing. 

Requirements for Applicant:

1.BS, BA, or AA degree is acceptable.

2. Must be able to work on an individual basis as well as with a small team

3.Must demonstrate good sterile/aseptic techniques in the lab (we will train you!) 

4.Must be highly motivated, detail oriented, and be able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.

5.Must be able to lift 10lbs with each hand and lift up to 50lbs.

6.Must have Good Documentation Practices (we will train you!)

7.Must work occasional holidays

8.Must be willing to have a flexible schedule for days that require overtime

9.Must also live within 40 miles of Madison, Wisconsin. No relocation packages available.
