Our client is a well established and respected global engineering company. Financially stable and with a turnover in excess of £150 million, our client is renowned in the steel engineering sector. A requirement has arisen for a Procurement Manager to join the existing team to work alongside and support the supply-chain director.

Basic Salary £40,000 - £50,000 (Depending on Experience) Plus: Bonus, Pension, Healthcare, Phone and Laptop.

Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Procurement Manager (MCIPS), you must have a proven track record in procurement. We are looking for commercially savvy individuals with exceptional communication and negotiation skills who have had direct experience buying strategically for all aspects of a business. You will have a £20m+ spend to manage.

• Strong knowledge of the purchasing industry.
• Experience dealing with both UK & International suppliers.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build strong supplier relationships.
• Sound understanding of local and international logistics.
• A focus towards best outcomes for a business.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks.
