The Global media strategy team objective is to:

  • Understand overarching Deezer business objectives and strategy, and ensure these are translated into the media campaigns

  • In collaboration with all the internal touchpoints (local marketing teams, Data, growth, product market, studio, customer success) and external touchpoints (tools, agencies & media partners) help develop, implement, analyze and constantly refine our customer acquisition program strategy.

  • Help local markets through insights-driven & technical expertise, thought leadership and scalable processes and tools . Also Identifying local successful initiatives and identify scaling opportunities to other countries

What you will do

Along  with the global media strategy team, your role will be to create the framework that will help the 6 digital media buyers to maximize acquisition efficiency on a global scale through the following missions:

Reporting

  • Make global reporting easier & always more reliable through the use of dedicated tools hand in hand with the data team.
  • Provide macro insights on campaign performance and communicate key learnings (positive and negative) to local markets

Audience:

  • Manage all audiences creation/optimisation tools for local media teams to use it easily
  • Delivering audience insights

Competition:

  • Delivering competitor insights/outside of the industry-relevant insights and strategies in order to inspire and challenge local markets

Measurement:

  • Work hand in hand with data & growth teams to deliver paid/organic analysis
  • Lead execution of modeling efforts related to better measuring the impact of our campaigns throughout the entire conversion funnel

Testing:

  • Lead excellent customer experience in scoping & measuring tests (ad creative, ad placement, landing page experience, conversion forms, post-conversion relationship, A/B and multivariate testing, etc). Driving media learning agenda prioritizing tests and trails that will ultimately impact positive revenue growth for Deezer business

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • 3 or 4 years experience in digital media buying (in agency or on the client side, managing acquisition channels such as Google Ads, Facebook, RTB...)
  • Strong and proven experience in media strategy.
  • Understanding of branding + DR campaigns strategies, media planning and media platforms (Offline + Digital).
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to comfortably interface with all levels of management and to communicate cross-functionally in a structured and clear manner to influence outcomes.
  • Experience in forecasting.
  • Proven success with delivering business growth and traffic goals by building and leading digital marketing initiatives.
  • English and French speaker.
