The Core Infrastructure Team is looking for an intermediate to experienced Network / Site Reliability Engineer for living thrilling adventures. Our vision is to provide reliable, performant and secure services to guarantee the best Deezer Experience around the world in a resource-efficient way while making our staff autonomous and efficient at handling their services at scale by offering a self-service platform and instituting SRE principles. You will be confronted with various challenges tied to high traffic and high availability problems.

What you will do:

By joining the Core Infrastructure Team at Deezer, you will:

• Work closely with other teams to understand and mitigate issues
• Manage network operations with our provider
• Build and deploy services, solutions and tools impacting our whole infrastructure
• Monitor, detect anomalies, investigate problems, resolve incident and write good post-mortem
• Participate to code review of our solutions
• Help the team to handle and reduce its Toil

What we are looking for:

• Bac +5 - Network Engineer
• Experience 3-5 years

Essential

• Great knowledge and adherence on SRE principles
• Strong knowledge of GNU/Linux systems (we use Debian)
• Strong knowledge of OSI model (or TCP/IP), IPv4 and DNS
• Great knowledge of Load Balancing software (e.g. HAProxy)
• Experience with routing protocols (e.g. BGP)
• Experience in network troubleshooting (e.g. tcpdump)
• Experience with Ansible, Git, Terraform, Jenkins
• Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• An experience with Kubernetes CNI different than flannel is welcomed
• An experience with Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services is welcomed
