Finding the right track our users are looking for, the rising artist they have heard of, or the podcast everybody is talking about... : the search engine is there for our users. Since it is the main entrypoint to browse our catalog of millions of tracks, playlists or podcasts, we are looking for a smart and creative ML engineer to improve it. Inside the data science department, you will be in charge of the search topic and become the bridge between product and R&D. Your mission will be to increase the search engine relevance and reduce effort to get results

What you will do:

• Design, code, experiment and implement in production models and algorithms such as spell checker or ranking search results

• Work closely with the product manager to improve the search experience for our users

• Collaborate with our R&D team to build the future of the search engine.

What we are looking for : 

• MS in Computer Science and at least 3 years of work experience;

• Background in machine learning and NLP;

• Experience in search engine;

• Fluent in at least one language in Python, Scala, Java;

• Experience with analyzing large data sets using Hadoop/Spark/GCP is a plus;

• Must be self-directed, organized and team player;

• Fluent in English or French.
