We are looking for a passionate Lead Front End Engineer, with a strong technical background and a first experience in managing a team of talented engineers.
With an eye for product design and quality, you will have to lead your team in an inspiring way, while defining relevant solutions regarding specifications and projects timeline.

What you will do?

• Lead a talented team of front-end engineers
• With your team, define the best way to achieve product & technical objectives
• Work in collaboration with product and design teams to create the best features and improvements
• Work in collaboration with backend and mobile developers to improve Deezer app ecosystem
• Ensure the technical quality of code produced by your team
• Help your team solve complex problems with smart solutions
• Inspire and help grow talents within your team

What you will need to be successful?

• 5+ years of web development experience
• Strong knowledge of both Javascript and CSS
• Great at building responsive and user-friendly single-page applications in React, Redux, ES7, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, SASS, etc.
• Build tools like Webpack, npm, Babel, etc.
• Understand how to debug hard problems in HTTP, CORS, XHR, etc.
• Proven engineering skills in code versioning, tests (with Jest for example) and code review
• Good knowledge of web UX
• Must be proactive and organised
• Team spirit
