Job Description

What will you do?

  • Be the owner of Deezer's global social media strategy and drive strategic alignment and close cooperation with Deezer's local markets
  • Ensure that Deezer is present on the right platforms with the right frequency and content
  • Manage Deezer's global company accounts to drive growth and user engagement across relevant platforms
  • Manage relationships with local country social media leads and ensure the sharing of best practice and use cases across Deezer's social media community
  • Drive KPI alignment, support markets in target setting, and drive best practice in social measurement across the business. Set clear KPIs for individual campaigns and track performance to derive learnings and improve
  • Provide consultancy to key stakeholders within the business when it comes to social media best practices. This will include hosting workshops and acting as the gatekeeper for all social media materials that are developed to be shared externally
  • Sustain existing and build new relationships with key partners in the social media space e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn and others
  • Act as the lead on social media projects that have been developed in collaboration with partners like Twitter, creative agencies or new media platforms
  • Be a partner in local market content creation, ensuring alignment with the all up global objectives and strategy
  • Be responsible for growing and engaging the Deezer community
  • Provide recommendations on the usage of new tools in order to optimize business performance
  • Carry out regular technology and competitive intelligence research to stay abreast of key issues
  • Work closely with other members of the central marketing team to ensure alignment and consistency in planning and messaging

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience managing and growing social presence for popular consumer brands
  • Detailed understanding of social media dynamics, current competitive conditions and challenges and opportunities to grow
  • Detailed understanding on how to use and optimize growth on the major social media platforms
  • Established network of contacts with key social platforms a plus
  • Track record of managing a small and dedicated team and experience with soft leadership
  • Experience from a fast international environment and ability to win hearts and minds and to provide soft leadership and guidance 
  • Proven ability to set and deliver KPIs for a whole function
  • Collaborative mindset and positive attitude
  • Native English with strong understanding of social tone and voice. Other languages a benefit, esp. French.
