What you'll do : 

• Manage Deezer’s social channels in UAE and ensure that Deezer is present on the channels that align with its audiences
• Own the social publication and content schedule and deliver a flow of posts on the appropriate channels at the right time
• Oversee and execute on local content creation for social channels and ensure that Deezer’s channels in UAE are alive, active and dynamic
• Make sure that Deezer’s UAE channels are on-brand and follow the right tone of voice while adhering to local customs and regulation and respecting local culture in the region
• Localise relevant global content and ensure that it plays on Deezer’s social channels in UAE
• Drive engagement across Deezer’s communities on our UEA channels & monitor and escalate any questions or potential issues or negative sentiment
• Work closely together with local and global Comms, Editorial and Artist Marketing teams to deliver an optimal blend of content for Deezer’s social channels
• Provide guidance & advice to other social media-focused colleagues in the MENA region
• Be an active part in the management of the agencies who support Deezer’s social efforts in the region
• Localise relevant global content for Deezer’s local UAE and MENA social channels

What we're looking for :

• 5-8 years of experience in managing and growing Social Media channels for young and dynamic consumer brands in the MENA region, either in-house or in an agency environment
• Understanding of local and regional social media trends, the ways that people use social media and consume content
• Ability to work in a fast-paced growth environment and to adapt to evolving expectations
• Track record of setting and delivering on meaningful KPIs for social media
• Passion for music and an understanding of local artist scenes, genres, and music
• Native level (written and spoken) in Modern Standard Arabic and fluent/native English. (Egyptian, Gulf Arabic (Khaleeji), Lebanese Arabic languages a strong plus).
