The Core Applications Startup is responsible for developing and maintaining the core features of all our applications on the main B2C platforms and providing robust technical solutions that empower the creation, by other teams, of great features and excellent user experiences. Our role is also to ensure we deliver a state of the art audio experience to the millions of people enjoying our product everyday.

In order to fulfil our missions, we can count on a team of more than twenty experienced mobile, desktop and web developers, five QA specialists and two Product Designers.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic Technical Product Manager with a passion for technology and product quality and a proven experience in managing B2C products. If you want to shape services with big audience and help millions of users listening to their favorite artists all over the world, then join the team!

You’ll play a critical role in the team alongside the lead Product Manager, and lead engineers, on existing and new projects. You’ll guide product development from inception through build and delivery, ensuring that the products we develop meet market and customer today’s needs and are built for the future.

The product you’ll work on will be new or improvements of B2C apps and backend features designed to ensure the best performances of our clients apps and enable other Deezer teams to deliver new and exciting experiences.

This mission includes:

• Work hand in hand with the lead Product Manager on establishing a shared vision across Deezer, building consensus on priorities leading to product execution,

• Manage the full life cycle of products: lead the ideation, technical development, launch and continuous improvement of innovative products,

• Drive product development with a team of experienced engineers and QA analysts,

• Govern the product backlog and communicate release plans,

• Integrate usability studies and market research into product specifications to improve user experience,

• Define and analyse OKRs that enable us measure the success of what we deliver,

• Liaise with the business and marketing teams to ensure our product reach their full potential when released,

• Collaborate with other teams in order to execute Deezer’s global product strategy,

• Manage the day-to-day relationship with strategic partners on specific projects,

• Understand the strategic and competitive position we’re in and deliver products that are recognised best in the industry.

You’re eager to always learn, be a member of a team and deliver great products many people will use. Plus, you have a strong technical background, and are looking for your next great challenge.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience,

• 5+ years of product management or program management experience delivering end-user facing products and services,

• Leadership, dependency management and cross-group collaboration experience with experience managing projects,

• Experience creating functional and technical specifications,

• Experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies,

• Excellent analytical skills,

• Excellent communication and interpersonal/soft skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships within the company and with partners,

• Curious and well organised,

• Great team spirit.

• Fluent in English (French is a plus but not mandatory)
