Job Description
The primary role of the Finance Lead is to collaborate with the respective stakeholders in the Philippines and Australia Team. This role will support the group in analyses, budgeting, forecasting, analysis trends and variance analysis. The candidate is also expected to participate in process improvement and report enhancement.

As Finance Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Providing monthly/quarterly financial closing and communicating current financial results to BU Leaders
- Providing financial analysis in support of strategic and operational decision making
- Annual Budgeting and Quarterly Forecasting
- Prepares Consolidation report and elimination entries
- Provide value adding and insightful analysis and narratives on key variances in financial reports
- Identify and research variances to forecast , budget and prior year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
- Ad-hoc project analysis and Financial modelling (including production of 3 way models)
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams in the organization
- Assisting in month-end closing activities of DBC
- Perform other tasks assigned by Management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Financial Management
Must be a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
More than 5 years of professional experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, General Ledger & Compliance
Preferably with working experience working in an SSC or BPO environment and exposure in establishing new processes, documentations and initiating process improvement projects thereafter
Previous knowledge and experience in month end processes and accounting adjustments, including accruals and prepayments
Analysis skills and the ability to identify and understand variances and trends
Well-developed computer skills – MS365 Suite especially MS Excel and other accounting systems such as Xero, Netsuite, etc.
Basic knowledge in Continuous Process Improvement
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Self motivated with a desire to learn
Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure and within set deadlines
WORKING LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
This role works in a HYBRID SETUP and in order to be considered for this opportunity you must be able to demonstrate your home working environment is as follows:
