To support our continuous growth and to deliver exceptional service to our clients, we are seeking to appoint an Assistant State Manager in New South Wales to work closely with the State Manager and help build and support our expanding group of inspectors.

Job Description

Our Assistant State Manager will assist the State Manager to manage and lead a team of inspectors across the state, so your day-to-day will see you:

  • help manage and lead all inspectors statewide i.e. maintaining an overview of your team's daily schedules, fielding calls, problem-solving and providing advice as required
  • complete scheduled inspections, proactively managing your time and traveling between sites whilst providing clear, concise, and accurate inspection reports for our clients using our digital applications
  • be a voice for the customer to handle escalations and complaints; providing an exceptional level of service and care
  • manage team development including recruiting new inspectors, onboarding and training then reviewing, coaching and providing constructive regular feedback 
  • conduct weekly Microsoft Teams meetings with our senior leadership team
  • assist the sales team with providing quoting inspections where required

    About You

    This exciting new opportunity will be a progressive role for a Licensed Building and Pest Inspector or a trade-qualified candidate from the construction industry. 

    As our ideal candidate, you will:

    • have completed Pest Control Certificate with Units 8 & 10 for inspecting and reporting on Termite & Timber Pests (or be willing to complete this)
    • have team leadership experience including hiring, training, coaching, and developing an engaged and collaborative team 
    • demonstrate excellent communication skills with proven customer service experience, able to manage customer service requests to completion 
    • be able to work autonomously with little supervision, collaborating with remote management teams
    • hold a current Driver's Licence and your own transport.
