Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Accountant who can provide exceptional financial duties to our team!

The Accounts Receivable Accountant's duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

You will be responsible for:

  • Gathering supporting documents, reviewing and preparing and sending invoices for the clients
  • Review AR invoices and post them in the system
  • Regularly review and update advance/ regular billings to reflect actual rendered services in accordance with the agreement
  • Reconcile customers’ SL with company records-both invoices and payments; identify reconciling items; coordinate with stakeholders to provide any missing documents that may need to be resent
  • Respond to email and voice inquiries from stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Assisting Accounts Receivable Lead in preparing periodic customer aging reports, other reports, and other ad hoc tasks
  • Ensure that all accounting records and documents especially those classified as highly confidential and with direct or indirect monetary equivalent are properly stored and filed at the end of each business day

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Financial Management
  • Must have at least 2-3 years of working experience; Billing and cash application experience is desirable
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Preferably with experience working in a property/real estate management environment
  • It is essential to be highly proficient in Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and other accounting systems such as Xero, Netsuite, etc.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, ability to converse with all levels of staff
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn
  • Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure and within the set deadline
