What's the role and opportunity?

Led by our talented Growth team, DBC is in the unique position of being Australia's largest provider of property sale to settlement solutions. Our Social Media Specialist will step into this newly created position and with the support of our Social and Digital Marketing Manager, develop and execute a first-class and highly engaging social media strategy for our multiple B2C and B2B brands. This role will provide you the opportunity to bring your mastery of social media platforms and further build our online community of followers across Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.

Job Description

Our Social Media Specialist will take ownership of: 

  • creating and implementing the social media strategy for all brands; maintaining a social content calendar and managing all social platforms to grow our online communities
  • developing content from concept to execution, working collaboratively with various teams across the business
  • developing and executing our social media communications in line with the business goals and initiatives, recruitment strategies, and strategic communication strategies
  • responding to social feedback and commentary, utilising social guidelines matrixes and reporting on social activity including engagement, website visits and content performance
  • keeping across industry trends, social product updates and competitor activity to deliver insights and innovative campaign ideas

Your skills and experience

Where you shine in being the ideal candidate for this role, is your:

  • experience in a Social Media Coordinator or similar Specialist position within an agency, or similar group of companies with expertise across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • proven skills in managing social media plans, campaigns, and writing content 
  • experience in reporting and delivering insights on social media interactions
  • stakeholder management and influencing skills with a collaborative attitude, and a desire to develop long term positive relationships
  • passion for what you do, enthusiasm and drive to succeed within a truly fun, dynamic team.
