Job Description

As our Talent Acquisition Lead reporting to our Talent Acquisition Manager in Australia, you will primarily own the recruiting and onboarding activities for Australian candidates, whilst also providing some assistance to our local Philippines-based Talent Acquisition Lead. This is a critical role that will enable the proactive sourcing and hiring of candidates across a variety of business units; focusing on improving both candidate and hiring manager experience through innovative recruitment strategies.

If you're a recruitment expert with experience in either BPO, internal or agency recruitment roles, and like us; you feel there's room for improvement in the traditional recruitment process, we would love to see your application.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • providing talent acquisition support to our People Leaders at a high standard of Customer Engagement and Satisfaction; from sourcing to offer
  • participating in role brief discussions to understand the hiring requirements, assisting the creation of Position Descriptions and setting hiring timeframes
  • creating engaging job ads, promoting our company values and culture
  • proactive sourcing using different job platforms and internal databases e.g. Seek, LinkedIn and JobStreet
  • conducting the initial CV screening and assessments in Australia and the Philippines via phone or interviews
  • improving the candidate experience - focusing on reducing applicant response times and better engagement through digital solutions
  • coordinating interviews, background/reference checks and sending out job offers 
  • building and engaging talent communities through both reactive and proactive strategies
  • providing proactive feedback to both the People Leaders and candidates during the recruitment process, setting timelines and expectations
  • working cooperatively and collaboratively with other People team colleagues to deliver high quality, consistent services to all internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will enjoy networking - speaking with candidates from different roles and industries, always learning, and must understand that there is often more to identifying a good candidate than just looking at their CV or Cover Letter.

Our Talent Acquisition Lead role will be an ideal fit for someone who:

  • can demonstrate succeeding as a Recruitment Consultant, Talent Acquisition Specialist/Officer, or in a similar function role
  • has a start-up mindset in being able to wear multiple hats to solve a problem
  • has recruited technical roles e.g. developers, QA's, BA's, DevOps, UI/UX etc 
  • ideally has experience hiring candidates offshore in Australia, the UK, USA, or in the APAC region 
  • has a naturally confident and outgoing personality to ask questions and provide feedback
  • is honest - can own up to their mistakes but more importantly can learn from them
  • demonstrates strong time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
  • is able to quickly build rapport and working relationships with candidates and hiring managers
  • contributes and sharing ideas that help to improve processes and customer experience
  • is proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems and job portals 
  • has completed a Bachelor's/College Degree in Psychology or Human Resource Management.

Working Location and Requirements: Our teams are currently working from home, however, this role will be based in our Makati head offices once circumstances allow. In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate your home working the environment is as follows:
