To support our continuous growth and to deliver exceptional service to our clients, we are seeking to appoint a State Manager in Victoria to work closely with the National Inspections Manager and help build and support our expanding group of inspectors.

Job Description

Our State Manager will have a varied role to both lead the team and manage their own client activity, so your day-to-day will see you: 

  • manage and lead all inspectors statewide i.e. maintaining an overview of your team's daily schedules, fielding calls, problem-solving and providing advice as required
  • complete scheduled inspections, proactively managing your time and traveling between sites whilst providing clear, concise, and accurate inspection reports for our clients using our digital applications
  • be a voice for the customer to handle escalations and complaints; providing an exceptional level of service and care
  • manage team development including recruiting new inspectors, onboarding and training then reviewing, coaching and providing constructive regular feedback 
  • conduct weekly Microsoft Teams meetings with our senior leadership team
  • assist the sales team with providing quoting inspections where required.

About You

This exciting new opportunity will be a progressive role for a Licensed Building and Pest Inspector or a trade-qualified candidate from the construction industry. As our ideal candidate, you will:

  • have completed Pest Control Certificate with Units 8 & 10 for inspecting and reporting on Termite & Timber Pests (or be willing to complete this)
  • have team leadership experience including hiring, training, coaching, and developing an engaged and collaborative team 
  • demonstrate excellent communication skills with proven customer service experience, able to manage customer service requests to completion 
  • be able to work autonomously with little supervision, collaborating with remote management teams
  • hold a current Drivers Licence and your own transport.
