Role Summary

We are seeking a strategic, high-energy Senior Manager of Key Customer Engagement to join our Commercial team. This highly visible role will be pivotal in shaping and executing customer engagement strategies across the Sarcoma franchise, supporting both QINLOCK and ROMVIMZA.

From managing peer-to-peer initiatives and congress execution to developing relationships with leading Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), this role sits at the intersection of strategy, field execution, and patient impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Key Customer Engagement (25%):
    Support the development and execution of the Key Customer Engagement (KCE) strategy across the Sarcoma franchise; identify and manage relationships with KOLs, including contracting and compliance oversight.
  • Peer-to-Peer Initiatives (30%):
    Lead day-to-day operations of the Speaker Bureau, including program execution, budget tracking, and speaker training to ensure effective HCP engagement.
  • Congresses (30%):
    Partner cross-functionally to manage logistics, booths, and brand presence at congresses; engage with HCPs and collect actionable insights.
  • Insights (15%):
    Maintain KOL profiles and insights databases; gather expert feedback to inform commercial and medical strategies.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business-related or life sciences field with 8+ years of progressive experience in biotech/pharma
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally across marketing, medical, and compliance teams
  • Strong project management skills, especially in agency and budget oversight
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Passion for improving the lives of cancer patients
  • Ability to travel up to 35%

Preferred Experience

  • Background in sales, advocacy, or HCP-facing marketing roles
  • Experience in Oncology and/or Rare Disease strongly preferred

Additional Information

Deciphera is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary pay range for this role is $149,000 - $204,000. Actual compensation packages will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to depth of experience, education, skillset, overall performance and/or location.​
