Your role as a Law Assistant

This position is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge matters at the intersection of law and technology, including AI. As a law assistant you will contribute to our Data, Cyber and Privacy practice in the form of a dynamic blend of know-how activities and hands-on support for matters. The know-how part involves the drafting of our privacy law update and delivering engaging presentations on recent case law. Additionally, you'll play an important role in supporting our practice by conducting comprehensive literature and case law research, crafting presentations, creating memos, and perform research for ad-hoc questions.

You will learn from being an integral part of the team and by participating in our educational and social activities (both practice-specific and firmwide).

Our practice

Our Data, Cyber and Privacy practice assists large multinational companies on complex data-related matters that are driven by regulators in the EU or result from private enforcement through litigation and mass claims. Often, these matters lead to uncharted territory of data protection regulations and their interaction with other areas of law, such as EU law, competition, consumer law and collective redress actions. Qualifications

We are looking for someone who …

  • is studying for a master's in law, with a strong academic record;
  • has basic knowledge of and is passionate about data privacy, law & technology;
  • is meticulous and well organised;
  • has a proactive, flexible and independent attitude;
  • is fluent in English; and
  • can work for us at least 15 hours a week, for six months.
