DCS is looking for an HR Coordinator with superb communication and administration skills. The HR Coordinator will handle all written and verbal employee queries with the utmost confidentiality. The role heavily leverages various HR applications with a focus on Paylocity, Smart Recruiter, and Outlook. You will be part of a small but mighty HR team that prides itself on superior service and relationships within the business.
To be a successful HR Coordinator, you should have a sound knowledge of labor laws. You must be able to deal with a variety of personalities and keep calm in tense situations. A top HR Coordinator should be approachable, fair, and have good multitasking abilities. Responsibilities include:
Managing the new hire onboarding process including coordination with Field Management
Maintaining internal records, which may include preparing, issuing, and filing company documentation (e.g., sick leave, parental leave, etc.)
Support recruiting team as needed
Acting as the first point of contact for all personnel queries
Process personnel actions and coordinate with payroll
Conduct employee check ins for new hires
Conduct exit interviews for terminating employees
Qualifications
Seeking 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources; a bachelor's degree in human resources highly preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
At least 2 years of outlook experience.
HRIS experience preferred; Paylocity experience highly desirable.
Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality.
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
Ability to use Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Ability to work well independently, as well as on a team.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and telephone communications skills.
Sound knowledge of labor laws and practices.
Important level of customer service aptitude
