Job Description

The Marketing Brand Manager leverages company market strategies to create and execute a comprehensive brand strategy and tactical plan for amplifying one of Daxko’s family of brands, achieving sales goals and owning the market it serves.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create an annual marketing strategy for one of Daxko’s brands inclusive of all campaigns (events, digital marketing, sales campaigns, customer communication, product announcements and cross-team coordination) required to achieve annual marketing and sales goals
  • Effectively manage the execution, tracking and optimization of the annual marketing strategy you create by coordinating with marketing specialists within the team, as well as counterparts on the Sales, Services and Product teams
  • Create and manage the marketing budget for the brands you manage on a weekly, monthly and annual basis to achieve maximum results while remaining within or under budget
  • This also includes being able to coordinate the approval of and effectively manage budget reallocations and changes throughout the year
  • The ability and drive to jump in and help execute on various campaigns when marketing Specialists need the support
  • This includes the ability to write copy, create assets in HubSpot, or leverage other tools to launch digital and traditional campaigns
  • Review and QA of all marketing deliverables before finalized (ex: emails, ads, content guides, etc) to ensure brand standards and alignment with campaign goals
  • This requires implacable attention to detail, organization, communication skills and cognitive reading skills.
  • A deep understanding of the products and markets their brand serve and their brand’s perception within them
  • The ability to create strategies and plans the WOW the market and hold their brand to the highest standards
  • Writing compelling proposals to get initiatives approved for brand strategies and campaigns
  • Weekly or monthly meetings with cross-team counterparts on the Sales, Product and Services teams.
  • Cross product line strategy planning and coordination to effectively market and sell additional products and services to meet company goals
  • Exceptional project management, written and verbal communication, proof reading and planning skills
  • Passion for the fitness, health and wellness market and the presence Daxko and its family of brands have within it

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing with strong preference on strategy planning and brand management
  • Proficiency in marketing systems and reporting, including marketing automation, testing and CRM
  • Exceptional time management, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to smoothly collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Technical skills:  WordPress, HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce, Optimizely, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics
