Job Description

Title: Engagement Data Specialist

Terms: Full-time 1-year term (34 hours/ 4-day week)

Reporting to: Digital Engagement Manager (Vancouver)

Location: Based near our Vancouver, Toronto or Montreal Offices, with remote work during the pandemic

Salary: 60-70k, based on experience

You and the Job

We are a group of talented, bright and passionate people working to make a difference in the world. We are looking for a collaborative and solutions-oriented Engagement Data Specialist who will play a critical role in supporting engagement across all of our work.

The Engagement Data Specialist will support the collection, storage, reporting and analysis of engagement data. You will report to the Digital Engagement Manager and work collaboratively across the organization.

You are passionate about engagement and understand that accurate and relevant data is the backbone of the social justice and environmental movements. You have strong interest and experience in online advocacy.

Your Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Support the implementation of engagement data strategy and integration strategy
  • Ensure all available engagement data is represented in Salesforce
  • Maintain accuracy of engagement data
  • Optimize imports, integrations and logic across all sources of engagement data
  • Document integrations and import logic
  • Identify areas to improve integrations and import processes and logic
  • Support testing of integration tools
  • Maintain Step Up! engagement tracking app within Salesforce
  • Design relevant reports and dashboards
  • Regular data analysis
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

Your Qualifications

Skills, Experience and Training Required:

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Certified Force.com Developer experience a bonus
  • Experienced with complex system integrations
  • Expert with DemandTools or comparable
  • Experience with VisualForce, Salesforce APIs, Apex, classes, triggers, workflow rules, DLRS
  • Expert at reporting in Salesforce.com
  • Workato experience a bonus
  • Excellent data manipulation and deduplication skills
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong documentation skills
