Job Description

Position Title:

Salesforce.com Administrator

Terms:

One year - possibility of extension

This is a full time position with a 4 day work week.

Location:

Negotiable

Reporting to:

Director, Digital and Technology


Responsibilities:

1. Administration of SFDC (configuration based on NPSP)

  • ongoing database maintenance and security
  • support of 40+ SFDC users across the organization
  • data imports
  • data cleansing

2. Platform Integration and Maintenance

  • maintain integration of various online properties with Salesforce.com (Drupal, Wordpress, Marketo and others as required)
  • manage the importing of data from non-integrated platforms

3. Training and Documentation

  • develop training plans, materials, and documentation for database users
  • keep training materials and documentation up-to-date
  • coordinate new user and ongoing training sessions organization wide

4. Measurement

  • maintain Step Up! engagement tracking app within Salesforce
  • work with project leads to design relevant reports and dashboards
  • support teams in defining key performance indicators, performing analysis and data driven decision making

5. System Customization and Onboarding Internal Teams

  • evaluating business needs of internal teams
  • custom configuration of the Salesforce.com platform to meet the business needs of internal teams
  • application development/implementation and ongoing maintenance
  • testing, testing, testing
  • user adoption
  • documentation

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Demonstrated ability to take business requirements and formulate technical solutions within the Salesforce.com environment
  • 2+ years’ experience database management in the Salesforce.com environment
  • Experience with VisualForce, Salesforce APIs, Apex, classes, triggers and workflow rules
  • Excellent data manipulation and deduplication skills
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong documentation and training skills
  • Ability to prioritize based on business requirements and maintain focus in a hectic environment
  • Advanced MS Office Skills
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Certified Force.com Developer a bonus
  • Experience with donor databases and database integration with various web platforms a bonus
  • Experience in a non-profit environment a bonus
  • French language skills a bonus
