JOB TITLE --- Production Scheduler

LOCATION ----- Urbana OH - 43078

Duration ----- 6+ Months Contract (Extendable)

Shift - First shift hours 8 am – 5 PM (or slightly earlier as needed).

Description:

Key Responsibilities
• Effectively manage the production plan to meet daily build rates and ensure date fidelity on finish dates.
• Ensure adequate material availability and capacity availability prior to release of production orders to operations.
• Monitor production operations progress to ensure that build execution is occurring as planned. Drive actions to address and resolve aging orders (aged WIP).
• Act as the focal point for reporting and resolving all issues impacting production schedule execution. Develop (if needed) and monitor recovery plans.
• Lead/support efforts to understand root cause and corrective actions for process failures relating to execution of the production plan.
• Participate in tiered accountability process
• Continually optimize and monitor inventory
• Provide data and analysis
• Close coordination with cross functional teams

YOU MUST HAVE
• High School Diploma
• 3+ years’ experience with ERP Systems and ISC planning

• Ability to lead process improvement
• Knowledge in Six Sigma or lean• Solid understanding of SIOP, Inventory Management, MRP, MPS, and Procurement.
