Software Development Engineer in Test 

As an engineer in the Quality Engineering team at DataStax you will design, build , manage and leverage the state-of-the-art testing toolkit in DataStax.

What you will do:

• Build frameworks to support advanced testing techniques for distributed databases.
• Contribute to the automation frameworks that support intricate performance tests.
• Participate in peer code reviews and elevate the adherence of best practices.
• Participate in agile planning meetings and adapt to changing needs to ensure the quality of the team deliverables.
• Work closely with various product development teams to understand the test requirements and add support to the testing toolkit.
• Design and develop frameworks and robust automation test scripts at both Unit and integration level.

Your experience should include:

• Design test execution strategy and develop test automation frameworks.
• Hands on in writing clean code quickly in languages like Java, Python, Go.
• Understand the complexities of testing distributed systems with a strong emphasis on performance tuning.
• Comfortable with software development and scripting in a Linux based environment.
• Experience with any NoSQL database technology.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Jenkins Pipelines -Groovy.

Salary Range: $116,523 - 174,785
