Job Description

The Client Partner plays a key role in driving strategic relationships within assigned accounts. You will be responsible for establishing and managing relationships with key C/VP-level stakeholders and decision makers. To be successful, one will create trust between DataStax and enterprises to help them achieve their most important business goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Become a trusted advisor to clients

  • Own the overall satisfaction of clients.

  • Effectively manage strategic aspects of the client relationship post-sales.

  • Be a strategic value consultant with 20-30% of billable activities across clients.

  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to plan and forecast revenue growth.

  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to optimally deliver business results for the client.

  • Identify opportunities, building proposals, contract negotiations, and closing contracts.

  • Manage assigned customers and serve as the first line of contact, post-sales and prior to production.

  • Proactively identify risks to the customer achieving their stated business goals and work cross-functionally to build and drive a risk mitigation plan..

Requirements

  • Exceptional client service skills with the ability to build long-last relationships based on partnership and mutual success.

  • Bachelor degree and advanced university degree is preferred

  • 10+ years with applicable business, sales, or consulting experience

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex customer relationships in a technology service industry.

  • Willing to be a hands-on contributor and a proactive team player.

  • Ambitious and driven, thriving in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
