DataProphet was founded in 2014 and is a leading AI (artificial intelligence) and ML (machine learning) company with an agile team of engineers, mathematicians, data and computer scientists who have developed the OMNI solution, which reduces the cost of non-quality in heavy industries. AI and machine learning are used to ingest and analyze vast quantities of data and prescribes control parameter settings to operators, which reduces the cost of non-quality. OMNI’s performance is quantifiable and through the reduction of the cost of non-quality, profits are increased significantly.
DataProphet have raised funding for a global expansion program and have clients in the US, Brazil, Germany, Japan and SA. Our vision is to be the global, leading AI provider to manufacturing. The focus will be on growing our customer base globally through direct sales and channel partners. The marketing focus for the short to medium term will be brand awareness, product education, targeted customer communication, channel partner interest and investor relations, supported with the necessary business development and technical infrastructure to meet customer requirements.
Job Description
As a fast-growing venture capital backed business, we would like you to help expand our business and team within the USA & Europe.
Your responsibilities would be as follows:
Prospect new client base on all levels in relation to deploying and integrating OMNI
Secure weekly sales call appointments via phone, email, networking, and social media tools
Create, modify, and deliver presentations
Participate in the planning and execution of marketing programs and events to promote the company's activities
Collaborate with internal technical team to develop client specific proposals
Read, interpret, and effectively communicate technical data to identify client opportunities and engineering requirements
Utilize CRM system in prospect planning, pipeline reporting, and territory management
Target industries include (but are not limited to) Metal foundries, Automotive manufacture, Steel mills and Ore refineries
Willingness to travel
Company resources include phone and Laptop
Qualifications
Post Graduate Engineering-related degree, &/or equivalent industry experience
Commercial B2B experience in an Engineering, Industrial, or Technical Sales
At least 4 years proven sales experience
Self-starter with ability to work independently and execute prospecting plan autonomously
Polished image/presentation skills coupled with comfort in plant locations and industrial service environments
Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, or related industrial automation products and technologies a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
