Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and articulate Product Training Intern to help our users and team members master our platforms. You will be responsible for the end-to-end training lifecycle: from drafting technical manuals and designing visual aids to leading live training sessions.
The goal of this role is to bridge the gap between complex product features and user understanding, ensuring that every stakeholder feels confident using our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality training materials, including slide decks, user manuals, "How-To" guides, and video tutorials.
- Curriculum Design: Assist in structuring training modules that are easy to follow, logically sequenced, and tailored to different audience levels (e.g., beginners vs. power users).
- Training Delivery (Online): Conduct live webinars and virtual training sessions via platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
- Training Delivery (Face-to-Face): Facilitate in-person workshops or classroom-style training sessions, managing group dynamics and hands-on activities.
- Visual Storytelling: Use design tools to create engaging infographics and visual aids that simplify complex product workflows.
- Feedback & Assessment: Create quizzes or surveys to measure training effectiveness and gather feedback for continuous improvement of the materials.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English and Filipino communication skills. You should be comfortable speaking in front of a group. Proficiency in other national and regional languages, a plus.
- Content Design: Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, or Google Slides. Experience with screen recording tools (e.g., Loom, OBS) is a plus.
- Tech Savviness: Ability to quickly learn new software products and explain them to others in simple terms.
- Empathy: A "teacher’s mindset"—the ability to understand where a user might struggle and provide patient, clear guidance.
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Communication, Education, Psychology, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Internship Requirements (OJT)
- Academic Credit: Must be a current student whose curriculum requires On-the-Job Training (OJT) or a practicum for graduation.
- Documentation: Must provide a Letter of Intent or Endorsement from the school’s internship coordinator.
- Presence: Ability to report for both remote work (for content creation) and on-site/face-to-face sessions as scheduled.
- Hours: Commitment to complete the school-mandated hours within the agreed-upon timeframe.
- Exceptions: In case of an excellent candidate, this requirement may be waived.
Why Join Us?
- Build Your Portfolio: You will leave this internship with a library of professional training materials and a record of live facilitation experience.
- Direct Interaction: Gain experience working with diverse groups of people, from internal staff to external clients.
- Professional Growth: Develop your "stage presence" and instructional design skills in a fast-paced tech environment.
