Job Description

Seeking a candidate who is an innovative self starter and is able to handle a multiphone line system, verify insurances, prepare client statements, adjudicate claims and collect payments from clients and insurance companies.

The right candidate must be personable, flexible, a quick learner with Medical assistant training and billing experience a plus, one year experience or willing to learn.

Responsible to coordinate many clerical tasks to ensure the staff can communicate and work efficiently. Their job involves answering phone calls, greeting visitors, distributing mail, administering injections, drawing blood and preparing communications for external partners.

One who can Liaison with internal and external pharmacy staff and community providers

Qualifications

Administrative training or experience preferred 

Medical office and medical assistant training required

Certification or certification eligible within ninety days of onboarding

Billing experience or willing to learn a must

Scheduling between 10am-8:00pm Monday to Friday with some Saturday hours as needed 

Experience with collecting co-pays and billing knowledge preferred
