We are launching our first proprietary brand and looking for a talented visual designer to join our team. Founded and headquartered in San Francisco, Darby Smart is redefining the shopping experience by bringing products to life through authentic, user-generated video.

Job Description

As a Visual Designer on the proprietary brands team, you’ll help bring our first proprietary beauty brand, Shero Science, to life. You must be able to solve complex design challenges and think creatively to engage our users. You should be passionate about experimentation and love trying new things to gain user insights. You’ll take every opportunity to inspire and add delight to our user’s lives.

What you’ll do:

  • Own design challenges end-to-end

  • Create a visual language for the Shero Science brand

  • Design packaging for our line of skincare products

  • Design engaging emails that build customer trust and loyalty

  • Design social media campaigns to help push the brand forward

Qualifications

 

  • 5-7 years experience as a visual designer who has collaborated across the company from product managers and engineers to marketing teams

  • Demonstrated design experience across both print and digital mediums

  • A creative scientist who loves testing new ideas to gain insights

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once

  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills

  • Outgoing and eager to take on responsibility

  • Believes that in design less is more, and that every element is there for a reason
