We are seeking a skilled Automation & Control Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, designing, implementing, and optimizing automation and control systems. The role requires a strong understanding of automation and control and a good foundation in electrical and process engineering.

• PLC and HMI programming and software testing
• Electrical design of power distribution and control cabinets
• BOM generation and execution of manufacturing with external subcontractors
• Commissioning and hands-on troubleshooting of electrical and automation equipment
• Plant control software deployment and testing together with R&D engineers

• MSc in Automation and Control and/or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ year(s) of relevant industrial experience in design and implementation of rugged, large-scale automation and control systems.
• Knowledge of IEC 61131-3 languages.
• Familiar with industrial communication protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA, ...).
• Working knowledge and programming of PLCs and HMI.
• Ability to design electrical circuits for LV, MV, and DC applications ensuring compliance to common design standard.
