At Dalstrong we’re hiring for an all-star Financial Analyst to join our remote team! Whether you’re a hobbyist or a pro, our aim is to enhance the experience of our clients’ culinary creations.

This is a full-time position with flexible hours and you will be reporting to our FP&A Lead. If you’re a detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated Financial Analyst, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do!

• You will analyze material or unusual actual cost variances from budget.

• You will interact with various corporate functional leaders for necessary research.

• You will conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

• You will review, analyze, and compare monthly and quarterly operating department financial results and key performance indicators against budget and forecast and other internal benchmarks.

• You will utilize judgment to recommend when policies and procedures need to be changed.

• You will assist with month-end close responsibilities (Executive reporting package with financial statements reporting, KPIs, contribution margin, product mix, and variance explanations).

• You will run timely financial reports, make FP&A leads aware of any changes to data that may affect established reports.

• You will project cost estimates, capital appropriation analyses & facilitation of operational improvements

Who You Are (Requirements)

• Fully fluent in English.

• Experience in e-Commerce, Shopify and Amazon Listing is a plus

• Finance, Economics, Accounting and or/relevant experience 

• Strong interpersonal communication, presentation, negotiating and influencing skills

• Proficient in MS Excel; including pivot tables and vlookups, and other excel formula

• Experience with NetSuite is a plus

• Hard-working, resourceful, self-motivated, detailed, and responsible.

• Ability to work independently and multi task

• Inventive and proactive in designing and implementing new processes to continually streamline the department and suggest new ideas on a regular basis while working in a complex, global environment and managing competing deadlines and priorities

• Ability to interact with all levels of management to ensure the business meets all financial and operational targets

• Willingness to work for a single employer exclusively

• Capacity to work additional hours if needed
