We are looking for a Business Continuity (BC) Technician to help support our BC Site in Farnborough. Our Business Continuity sites allow our customers to stay on line when their own sites go down. We provide them with all the software and hardware they need to continue without disruption and it will be your responsibility to support our customers when they need to use our sites.

Salary: Up to £21,500 plus Car Allowance

Your Responsibilities:

This will be a varied role where you will oversee a wide range of duties from providing support to our customers during rehearsals and invocations (when they need to use our sites) to managing the implementation of services for new customers i.e. installation co-ordination of systems such as hosted IT and communications. Our BC Technicians manage our BC invocation tests by attending our pre-test meetings, completing any documentation and deal with any problems highlighted during the tests up to resolution.

You will also ensure the functionality of all site facilities including air-conditioning, lighting and our diesel generators as well as providing out of hours on-call support for site facilities maintenance. As part of the exemplary customer service Daisy Corporate Services offers to its customers you will also provide support for client invocation call-out on the 24 hour on-call rota we operate.

We need someone who has fantastic customer service skills to be able to provide the service we want to give to our customers. A background in a Service Desk environment would also be highly desirable as we’ll need you to test, fix, diagnose and comfortably work with IT and Telecoms products daily. Failing this, a strong knowledge and interest in IT and Telecoms, preferably Windows Server operating systems and Network, Switches and Routers, is needed. Most importantly, we need someone with an inquisitive mind and an outgoing personality, who is comfortable working in a role where no two days will be the same.
