Dailymotion is seeking a DevOps Engineer with experience in distributed software architectures and release management to join its DevOps Team. 

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person to work on high-performance and innovative projects and to contribute to building our internal Platform-as-a-Service running on Kubernetes. You will also be responsible of the maintenance and the evolution of our CI platform based on Tekton/JenkinsX, and our CD platform based on FluxCD.

The ideal candidate dreams of efficient orchestration, bulletproof continuous integration, and scalable and resilient architecture.

Using AGILE methodologies in collaboration with other teams you will help support Dailymotion's business growth by defining appropriate systems and architectures that can handle our development needs and processing volumes.

The successful candidate will have various responsibilities and roles:

General roles:

• Ensure that the platform is reliable and performant through testing, automation and monitoring (Datadog)
• Ensure optimal use of our Kubernetes clusters
• Maintain and improve our CI/CD platform and delivery workflows
• Share best practices with your peers
• Learn new tools and adapt to changes in the software landscape

Specialized roles (some of the below):

• Develop and maintain our internal tools (Python / Go)
• Enhance the developer experience at Dailymotion
• Ensure a high level of security for our platform
• Set up components for production in our platform (Sentry)
• Provide guidance on Data architecture (Cloud GCP)

Experiences which we're looking for in our ideal candidate include:

-2+ years with high-performance, high-availability software
-Kubernetes ecosystem
-Microservices and distributed systems
-Knowledge of Cloud native CI/CD (Tekton/Argo/FluxCD/JenkinsX)
-Good knowledge of development languages
-Knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologies
-Proactive in suggesting improvements

Our stack currently uses the following tools, knowing them is a plus:

Linux based systems / Datadog / Kubernetes and Containers ecosystem / JenkinsX / FluxCD /Python and Go / MySQL, Aerospike, Druid / Terraform for our Cloud platform
