Working within the Finance Department, the ideal candidate will assist the Content FP&A and Royalty Manager on the entire royalties process from reports preparation, to payment processing and be a key user in the order process for our New York office.

Job Description

As royalty assistant, you will:

  • Create monthly royalty reports for dailymotion partners based on contract analysis
  • Activate, follow up and update royalty economics on SalesForce
  • Monitor partners billing and payment monthly closing in cooperation with dailymotion’s product team and accounting team
  • Assist manager during the financial monthly closing process 
  • Contribute to continuously improve the reliability and efficiency of royalty processes
  • Collect, control and follow up on incoming royalty reports from content partners
  • Support the royalty manager in the preparation of economic and financial analysis depending on operational requests
  • Provide timely and complete responses to licensing and royalty related inquiries

As order processor, you will:

  • Be a key partner to local teams to ensure the correct application of the order process
  • Make sure the accounting team has all the information to properly manage orders and invoices in the accounting system

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree, preferably in Finance
  • French and English speaker
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Curious, with communication skills
  • Highly motivated with a desire to work in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize high work volume
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Good proficiency with Excel is required, Tableau and SQL knowledge a plus
  • Preferably 2 years of experience in royalty accounting or related area
  • Ability to work with large data sets
  • Familiarity with royalty contracts and royalty calculations
  • Experience in online advertising is a plus
