Daayitwa is a campaign for economic empowerment with the vision of an enterprising Nepal where every youth has opportunities for a prosperous future.  It operates three clusters at grassroots, government and global levels.  It supports rural growth-oriented entrepreneurs to accelerate their innovations and grow other entrepreneurs in their local communities.  Leveraging the grassroots learning, it collaborates with the government to conduct policy research and advocate for economic policy reform.  Finally, it transforms these interventions into a global campaign that nurtures enterprising mindset in Nepalis by bolstering leadership capacity in enterprise ecosystem stakeholders.

Job Description

Position Title: Graphic Designer
Contract Duration: January 2018- December 2018 (extendable as per the need and mutual agreement)
Base: Kupondole, Head office.

Implement Daayitwa’s branding policy:  

  • Ensure that all publications, reports and products are produced in line with Daayitwa’s graphic guidelines

  • Implement the graphic guidelines in all Daayitwa’s communication products

  • Deliver creative and innovative ideas for print, electronic, web-based and animated presentations.

Design and lay-out of reports and other products

  • Design of reports and other communication materials for printing and electronic distribution

  • Improve and edit art-work, photos, charts and other graphic elements

  • Layout and design information and communication materials (banners, posters, booklets, leaflets, books, calendars, bulletins, flyers, cards)  

  • Custom photo editing (restoration, noise reduction, tonal adjustment)  

Detailed specifications for each individual assignment will be given to the selected designer as and when the designer’s services are requested.


  • 2 years of practical experience in designing and producing digital communication materials

  • Self-starter and team-player with enthusiasm for continuous learning

  • Understanding of social and political issues related to leadership development, public administration and governance

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and drive for results

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a diverse, team-oriented environment

  • Excellent user of design softwares: Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
