Created in 2008, DON’T NOD is an independent studio which creates and develop AA games in various genres : adventure (Life is Strange, Tell Me Why, Twin Mirror), action (Remember Me) and RPG (Vampyr). Each new game is an original creation with unique narrative gameplay experience and game mechanics.

In 2020, DON’T NOD expanded internationally by creating its first branch in Montreal.

What you'll be doing

DON’T NOD Entertainment is looking for a Senior Brand Manager to strengthen its Marketing team and support the projects of its subsidiary DON’T NOD Montreal through the creation and development of brands.

Reporting to the Group's Chief Marketing Officer, and in collaboration with all the Marketing/Communication, Publishing, and development teams, you will be responsible for developing brand strategies, as well as marketing strategies and tactics for the games produced by our studio.

Your mission will be :

  • To build, in close collaboration with the development team and the rest of the department, the brand of the game, its ecosystem, and its positioning, in order to develop a strategy and a marketing and communication plan relevant to the target market;
  • To take charge of the complete project management of the game's promotional materials (logos, trailers, artworks, etc.), whether they are produced internally by the creative teams or via partners and agencies;
  • Coordinate the implementation of all marketing and communication actions, this includes developing and following budgets and operational schedules, as well as collaborating with partner agencies and setting up partnerships;
  • To carry out not only a competitive analysis but also on new tools and marketing trends that will allow us to be agile and deepen our knowledge of the market by constantly seeking to improve.

Qualifications

The must-have skills we're looking for

  • At least 3 years of experience in brand management and development in the video games industry;
  • As a marketing generalist, you have already led video game launch projects in their entirety, ideally having already worked closely with a development team;
  • Endowed with excellent interpersonal skills, you like to communicate and interact with the teams;
  • You are recognized for your project coordination and organization skills while demonstrating autonomy;
  • You know how to bring together the teams around you under a common strategy and take advantage of each person’s expertise;
  • You know how to set up tests and use data to build your strategy;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and French).
