Job Description
At DO & CO London we are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Administrator to support the smooth running of the London unit. You will be supporting and working closely with Managers to ensure that day to day tasks are completed and that the high standards of DO & CO are portrayed to our partners. You will engage with the DO & CO Family to ensure all departments are well informed and reports are communicated efficiently and in timely manner.
We are looking for an experienced professional to join our London Accounts Payable team, acting as the right hand to the Accounts Payable Manager. You’ll work alongside colleagues to process firm expenses incurred by all departments in the London office. You will interact with members of other departments in our London office, the Accounting teams and with third-party suppliers, so good interpersonal and communication skills are essential. As a team, we continuously strive to improve our processes. We are looking for someone who shares this approach to their work.
- Support the Accounting Manager with general team management, project management, and process improvement
- Matching supplier invoices with PO and processing in procurement & accounting software
- Processing all invoices and credit notes through the relevant workflow tool
- Managing the Accounts Payable inbox • Be a leader within the team to ensure a culture of high performance
- Ensuring all invoice queries are resolved, engaging with the wider business and suppliers
- Forward, strategic thinking always looking to exceed targets and expectations whilst maintaining the collectiveness of the team and culture of DO & CO
- Ensure timely supplier payments and resolution of query invoices, setting, working to, and reporting on SLA’s for the department
- Manage the creation, and maintenance of process notes for the accounts payable department with the help of the team
- Purchase Order Management
- Supplier compliance management
- Review supplier reconciliations
- Review of Accounts Payable General Ledger reconciliations
- Responsible for Accounts Payable reporting
- Support Internal and External audit processes
- Taking responsibility for all your actions, support your team, and celebrate successes as a family
Qualifications
- Experience in a Senior Financial Administrator role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Well presented, professional individual with a can-do, positive attitude that indulges in team success
- Self-motivation, resilience, and a positive change champion for DO & CO in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and adapting
- Meticulous attention to detail and precise record keeping skills
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, mentoring and motivating, creating a team spirit, encouraging them to be at their best
- Highly proficient in excel with excellent working knowledge of accounting software packages and the ability to handle and integrate complex data sources, both manual and electronic
