DICA, an industry leader in safety and ground protection products, is seeking a proactive and solutions-oriented IT Support Generalist to join our team in Urbandale, IA.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide frontline support for hardware, software, and business applications, including Salesforce, shipping software(s), Shopify, VoIP phone systems and Office 365.
- Troubleshoot basic IT issues, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Vendor & System Management:
- Serve as a liaison between internal users and external vendors to coordinate solutions and maintain system efficiency.
- Assist in onboarding new IT tools and optimizing existing software.
- Process Improvement & Training:
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and streamline workflows through simplification and automation utilizing technology.
- Provide user training and create documentation for software applications and best practices.
- Project Support:
- Assist with IT-related projects, including automating the flow between systems (i.e. Salesforce ERP and Shopify), ensuring tasks stay on track and align with business needs.
- Collaborate across teams to implement new systems and/or updates efficiently.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, troubleshooting, or a related role.
- Familiarity and admin experience with Salesforce, Shopify, shipping software(s), and Office 365 is preferred.
