The hours for this position are 10:30am - 7:00pm Monday - Friday.

As a Product Specialist you will:

• Solution customer inquiries through e-mail and phone with the intent of providing customer satisfaction, retention, and extending contact to sell new or additional products and services.
• Review customer inquiries, problems, requests and suggestions and determine the appropriate solutions and responses.
• Negotiate customer claims and initiates billing adjustments.
• Work with customers to gather required documentation, provide compliance guidance and respond to shipment status queries.
• Conduct analysis to identify consistent problem areas.
• Provide support to the Business Development Specialists.
• Ensure appropriate measures are in place to prevent customer issues and service failures.
• Ensure customer needs are met by coordinating and adjusting product movement in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with other departments, as needed, to ensure all issues are understood and resolved correctly.

•HS diploma or GED required, Associate degree preferred
•2-4 years of experience in related area of responsibility
•Intermediate knowledge of US Customs Brokerage, Domestic forwarding, Air and Ocean services and the overall logistics industry
•A creative and innovative thinker to bring successful resolution to customer issues
•Strong oral and written communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills; ability to quickly build rapport with both customer and DHL Global Forwarding business units
