Job Description

We are looking for a working student/Intern (m/f/d) to support our Advanced Systems R&D department in developing new control methods applied on thermal management systems of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV)

Thermal management system (TMS) plays a very important role in cabin, battery, and powertrain thermal management. Thermal management needs of a Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) have a significant effect on the driving range of the BEV. Vehicle needs of thermal management are ever increasing which has resulted in development of more complex thermal management systems and its control. As a working student/Intern (m/f/d) you will have the opportunity to learn control methods of TMS and contribute to development of new control methods.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Master study with a focus on automotive/mechanical/control engineering or similar,
  • Good understanding of BEV thermal management systems & control theory,
  • Good English skills both written and spoken,
  • Has an interest to work in the automotive area,
  • Programming skills are required (e.g. Python, MATLAB and Simulink),
  • Knowledge of system simulation tools like GT suite, Dymola is an added advantage,
  • Good data analysis skills,
  • Good MS-Office skills are required (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
