We offer a recent graduate student the chance of an “on the job” experience [beroepsinlevingsstage/BIS] in the world of government affairs, while obtaining in-depth knowledge about certain EU policy areas as well as getting yourself familiar in the “Brussels bubble”.

Tasks of the trainee

  • Legislative & elections preparation monitoring and preparation of short reports in the areas of Green Deal, Trade, Circular Economy, etc. Through this the trainee will learn how to write concise notes.
  • Ensure network with stakeholders by following up contact (mails, phone,
  • Join external events to collect info and report back the key outcomes internally. Hereby the trainee will learn to identify on what items to report and learn broad scanning via obtaining the various stakeholders’ viewpoint.
  • Works closely with Government Affairs [GA] team to support them in general organizational (e.g top management report) and administrative support.

Qualifications

  • Very good spoken and written English.
  • Studies with a focus on political / European studies, law or similar
  • Basic knowledge of the EU decision-making processes and willingness to learn more
  • Communicative and project management skills
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office software
  • Eligible to work in Belgium

Additional Information

This is a paid voluntary internship [BIS]. DENSO offers suitable remuneration.
