Job Description

As Powertrain Application Engineer, you will be in charge of the technical development of Injection Systems for one of the leading Manufacturer worldwide. Internal Combustion Engine has still long-term perspectives and exiting challenges for Commercial Vehicles/Off-Highway applications especially, with talented engineers as key contributors in the path towards Carbon Neutrality.

Located at customer’s R&D site(Lyon), you will be the interface between Customer and DENSO Engineering centers (Europe, Japan) for the whole project development, from Advanced Engineering phase to Start of Production and Field monitoring:

-          Analyzing Technical/Project Requirements and proposing best matching Product/Technical Specification in collaboration with Component & System design teams

-          Establishing Validation/Verification plans internally and with customer, and proceeding it on Injection Rig, Engine and/or Vehicle

-          In collaboration with Project manager, coordinating with all stakeholders including our technical center and plants, to ensure high Quality deliverables (Prototypes/Production Parts and associated documentations

Qualifications

Engineering Master in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Physics, preferably with at least 5 years’ experience in Powertrain Component/System design at Automotive OEM or Tier1 Supplier. Experience abroad and/or as Customer/Supplier interface will be strong asset.

Solid ability in Project management based on both technical skills (pragmatic/rigorous approach) and soft skills (communication, sense of priority, aligning/influencing stakeholders, networking).

Open/Proactive mindset in collaborating with others and developing autonomy.

Fluent French and English mandatory, Excited to work daily in an international and multi-cultural environment.
