Job Description

The Demand Planner establishes the latest view on demand for the Business Unit Aftermarket & Industrial Solutions, signed off by all stakeholders.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Arrange for an up-to-date view of market demand, supporting and coordinating the monthly S&OP process and ensuring monthly sign off of the consensus forecast;
  • Build an accurate baseline forecast utilizing the demand planning tools available.
  • Collaborate with sales and product management to add NPI forecasts;
  • Coordinate and participate in the monthly demand planning process to ensure cross-functional alignment and to challenge forecast assumptions made;
  • Support forecast reviews by providing excellent analysis and top down challenge, highlighting risk areas and additional opportunities for the business to reconcile;
  • Track delivery against agreed deadlines to ensure business discipline;
  • Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, implement improvement plans and track results;
  • Arrange for periodic reporting against KPI’s set;
  • Support the implementation of new demand planning solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor level;
  •  minimum of two years experience within the demand planning area and S&OP process;
  • Understanding / experience with demand planning techniques and tools;
  • Excellent numerical analysis skills;
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Logility system experience is a plus;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Assertive with excellent influencing and interpersonal skills;
  • Team player with focus on improvement;
  • Fluent (written and oral) in English.
