Job Description

As Material Compliance Specialist (m/f/d) you are working in the field of Material Compliance and processes of DENSO Europe. Mainly you are leading projects and activities in the field of Material Compliance. Additionally, you are leading the problem solving of our European group companies, that are reporting Material Data Sheets (MDS).

  • Drive global projects in Europe that are initiated from our headquarter in Japan
  • Lead regional driven projects and activities with our European group companies
  • Grasp and evaluate new or updated compliance regulations and customer requirements
  • Align compliance regulations globally and especially with our headquarter in Japan
  • Deployment of DENSO policies regarding substances of environmental concern (SoC) in Europe
  • Support the engineers in European manufacturing group companies in change over activities
  • Improve the MDS data quality in Europe by enhancing internal system functions, processes and supporting manufacturing to instruct our suppliers
  • Solve issues in the MDS reporting process of our European plants
  • Implement our internal MDS System and process to DENSO European group companies (training, deployment and support)

Qualifications

  • You will typically have a university degree in the field of automotive, material engineering, chemistry or mechanical engineering or a comparable education with relevant work experience.
  • Extensive professional experience in a comparable position is an advantage.
  • Profound expertise of the European directive requirements for material and sound experience in the field of IMDS.
  • Experience with MDS tools from iPoint (iPCA) are of advantage.
  • Very good problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team as well as intercultural competence.
